Joshua Gordon Completes move to Leicester City

Josh Gordon said on his facebook page “I am delighted to finally announce that I have officially signed for English Premier League Champions Leicester City FC! I am looking forward to beginning this new chapter of my life, the hard work starts now! #godstiming #ismfootball”

Joshua Gordon, aged 22, was invited for trials at Premier league champions Leicester City after he scored 11 goals in 18 appearances for Stafford Rangers FC

Gordon started his career at Stoke City and has also had a trial with Alloa Athletic, where he was offered a contract by the Scottish Club, but opted to remain with Newcastle Town where he came up through the junior ranks to the senior team. He then moved from Newcastle Town to Nantwich Town whom Stafford Rangers signed him from.

“He epitomises what non-league is all about,” said Stafford Rangers boss Neil Kitching. “He’s one of the most hard-working strikers, he puts everything into every game like it’s his last, his desire and commitment and work rate are second to none.”
